REDGARD ELASTOMERIC WATERPROOFING PAINT is a high performance UV resistant water based coating formulated based on 100% Acrylic Emulsion for use as waterproofing paint on walls and roofs. It possesses outstanding exterior durability and excellent elasticity and elongation properties necessary to bridge forthcoming hairline cracks without cracking or wrinkling. Highly recommended for the waterproofing of roof decks, concrete gutters, toilet and bath. G.I. Roofing and Roof Tiles and as protective coating for Polyurethane Foams.

A. CONCRETE SURFACES
Apply one full coat of REDGARD EPOXY DEEP PENETRATING SEALANT CONCRETE SEALER as primer. Allow drying for at least 4 hours. Apply at package consistency.
Apply 3-5 coats by brush or roller of REDGARD ELASTOMERIC WATERPROOFING paint until a dry film thickness of 8-10 mils is attained. Allow an undercoating interval of at least 2-4 hours. Fiber reinforcement is recommended for roof deck, concrete gutter, toilets and other areas where there’s possible immersion in water.
NOTE: All cracks greater than 2mm must be required.
B. GALVANIZED IRON ROOFING
Apply REDGARD EPOXY ZINC CHROMATE PRIMER (for new G.I.) or REDGARD EPOXY RED OXIDE PRIMER (for old G.I.). Allow drying overnight. May be reduced with REDGARD EPOXY REDUCER if necessary.
Apply three (3) coats of REDGARD ELASTOMERIC WATERPROOFING PAINT. Allow an undercoating interval of at least 2-4 hours.
